Angkor Wat is the largest historical temple. Angkor wat is in Siem Reap, Cambodia it covers up to 162.6 hectares. It was built by the Khmer king Sayavarman II in the 12 century. Before entering Angkor Wat you need to buy a ticket, there are three types of a ticket the first one is the 1-day ticket in the one-day ticket you get to go only that day. the second ticket is the 3-day ticket in the three-day ticket you get to go 3 days in the week or it will expire the last ticket is the 7-day ticket in the seven-day ticket you get to go 7 days in the month or it will expire.
There are many means of transport to get to Angkor Wat like cars, tuk-tuks, bikes, cycles, etc, the best of them all is a tuk-tuk because it is really nice, the view but before you can go to Angkor Wat you need to get a ticket from the ticket counter. The best time to go to Angkor Wat is at the time of the sunrise because the sunrise is right above Angkor. Angkor is bordered by a beautiful moat on the moat there are 2 bridges one is white and the other is blackish green which is under reconstruction and is closed the white one is made for the tourists it is a floating bridge.there is a small pond where you can see Angkor reflection. There are three enclosures. On different walls, there are different beautiful carving like Mahabharat.

Near the main temple, there are lots of statues but none of the statues have heads. The main temple is really tall and kids under 12 years are not allowed. To see the whole Angkor Wat it may take a whole day or two.
