The Common Myna

The common myna is also called Indian myna. The mynas upperside of the body, underside of the body and the breast is brown in color. The bird's feet, beak, and an eye patch is yellow in color. the head and the neck is black in color. The upper side of the wing is brown to black with a triangle shaped white patch and the underside of the wing is brown to black with a triangle shaped white patch. the upper side of the tail is brown to black to white and the underside of the tail is white to black to white. the bird's plumage is brown with a little bit of black and white. the adult mynas beak is sharp and yellow in color and the juveniles have a black patch on their beak. the myna can grow up to 25 cm and the wingspan can grow up to 30 cm  long

the myna feeds on insects and it also eats seeds. the bird can be found in Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka; as well as Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Myanmar, to Malaysia, Singapore, peninsular Thailand, Indo-China, Japan, and China.
