The Lesser fish eagle is a sea eagle. It is smaller than its cousin the grey-headed fish eagle(if you want to know more about the grey-headed fish eagle look at the link down below). The eagle is a medium-sized sea eagle that is primarily grey-brown in color with broad, blunt wings and coarse featherless legs. The eagle is often confused with the grey-headed eagle. The eagle has a brown breast with white thighs and belly. They have a short rounded tail and large curved talons with a long neck and a small head. Adults have a wingspan reaching 1.2m and have a length of 64cm tall.
The eagle feeds on fishes which it snatches from the water. The eagle can be found in the Indian subcontinent, Himalayas, Nepal, Bruma, and parts of southeast Asia.
