The Madagascan fish eagle
The Madagascan fish eagle is also called the Madagascan sea eagle. The eagle is a critically endangered species. The body and wings are dark brown, with a pale brown head and a whitetail, the bill is blackish with a paler base, and the legs are pale grey. The eagle's length can reach up to 60 - 66 cm and has a wingspan of 165 - 180 cm. The eagle's weight can weigh up to 2.2 to 3.5 kg.
The eagle feeds on large fish but can some times also steal prey from other birds. The eagle can only be found in northwest Madagascar.
